AISI/SAE 4130 Alloy Steel Bar
Product Details
AISI 4130 Steel Bar is made from high strength low alloy steel and is primarily used in high temperature, high pressure and high strength industrial applications. 4130 steel is a chromium-molybdenum low alloy steel that has much higher strength and toughness than typical steel grades. Additionally, this alloy has a reduced carbon content which, while limiting through thickness strength, allows for better weldability than 4140 steel. These properties make AISI 4130 Steel Bar a popular choice for the aerospace industry for manufacturing commercial and military aircraft components that require high strength and low weight.
