The main parts of an excavator include the engine, torque converter, gearbox, front and rear drive axles, referred to as the four major parts.

There are three pumps on the torque converter of the excavator, the working pump (supplying lifting and dumping pressure oil), the steering pump (supplying steering pressure oil), and the speed change pump, also known as the travel pump (supplying torque converter and gearbox pressure oil). Some models also have a pilot pump (supplying pilot pressure oil for the control valve) on the steering pump
Working hydraulic oil circuit, hydraulic oil tank, working pump, multi-way valve, lifting cylinder and dumping cylinder
3. Travel oil circuit: gearbox oil pan oil, travel pump, one way into the torque converter and one way into the gear valve, gearbox clutch
4. Drive accessories: drive shaft, main differential, wheel side reducer.
5. Steering oil circuit: oil tank, steering pump, steady flow valve (or priority valve) steering gear, steering cylinder
6. There are two types of gearboxes, one is planetary and the other is split. Yantai excavator is mainly used for shoveling, loading and unloading, transporting and stacking bulk materials. It can also slightly excavate rocks and hard soil. If different working devices are changed, bulldozing, lifting and loading and unloading of other materials can also be completed. In highway construction, it is mainly used for filling and excavation of roadbed engineering, aggregates and loads in asphalt and cement concrete fields.

Gearbox assembly, gearbox body, end cover assembly, oil pipe and lubricating oil pipe, clutch assembly, clutch hub, clutch piston, clutch friction plate, clutch return spring, clutch piston pressure plate, reverse gear, reverse gear shaft, output shaft, internal and external oil seals, sealing rings, repair kits, control valves, solenoid valves, electric control handles (gear selection), brake assembly, etc.
